Friday 19th July 2019 marks the start of our ‘Celebration of the Swing Era’ in Bexhill on Sea with The Great Gatsby Ball held in a huge marquee with a dance floor on the Metropole Lawns adjacent to the iconic De La Warr Pavilion, when we bring you the very finest in 1920’s and 30’s music as we proudly introduce you to Beniot Viellefon and his Orchestra.
Undeniably renowned as possibly the best of the ‘Old Fashioned’ entertainers Benoit and his Orchestra are used to playing The Royal Albert Hall and also for Celebrities such as when they played for Madonna’s party.
They have a residency at Ronnie Scott’s in London and we are delighted to be bringing them to Bexhill on Sea to headline our Vintage Swing weekend. You will be transported back in time to a bygone era with the romantic sounds of the 20s and 30s music.
1920’s and 30’s DJ ‘The Swinging Detective’ will be your host for the evening.
A Bar and buffet will be available in the marquee.
